Originally from Orlando, Florida, Justin Jain is now a Philadelphia-based theatre artist and HotHouse Company member at The Wilma, where he last appeared in Passage and Blood Wedding. Recent stage credits include An Octoroon (Wilma), WHITE (Theatre Horizon), You For Me For You (InterAct), Informed Consent (Lantern), and These Terrible Things with his Barrymore nominated alt-comedy theatre company, The Berserker Residents (www.berserkerresidents.com). As co-founder of The Berserker Residents, Justin has had opportunities to travel nationally and internationally, performing in festivals (Edinburgh Fringe, 2014) and residencies (ASU Gammage and FringeArts, 2017) across the globe. Additionally, Mr. Jain has performed Off-Broadway and with many regional theaters including: Arden Theatre Company, 1812 Productions, Azuka, People’s Light, FringeArts, Shakespeare in Clark Park, McCarter Theatre, Passage Theatre, Milwaukee Rep, The Assembly in Edinburgh, ASU Gammage, and Ars Nova NYC, among others.
Justin is a proud alumnus of The University of the Arts (2004, BFA in Acting), where he currently serves as an adjunct professor, teaching courses in acting, comedy, producing, and collaboration. Justin has trained in Athens, Greece with master teacher, Theodorous Terzopolous and is one of a handful of certified instructors specializing in teaching his methodology. In addition to calling Philadelphia home for the past 18 years, Justin is a proud homeowner, husband, and father.
