Darcy Lyons (Lyons and Tigers) was born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She received a B.F.A in dance from California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) in 2010 and has since been living, working, performing, and creating dance work in Philadelphia. Darcy has choreographed many dance works for the stage, dance films, and dance installations. Most recently she produced Pendulum in April 2018 and Askew in June 2017. Other self-produced shows include Bricolage in March 2017, Patchworks in May 2016, and WALLS: a multimedia dance installation for the 2015 Philadelphia Fringe Festival. She produced MAEI MAEI AEIM at The Iron Factory in January 2014. Additionally, she has shown her work in several performance series in Philadelphia and New York including SHARE at The Iron Factory, Group Motion’s Spiel Uhr, and Wax Works in Brooklyn. She is a certified GYROTONIC® and Pilates instructor.
